Black Philadelphia History/Passion Story tour

Also in the spirit of the Easter season, members of our community helped organize a Holy Saturday tour to honor local African American history and intersecting this history with the last days of Jesus. WIth themes of death and resurrection, we learned about amazing figures who struggled against injustice. We feel that learning the history of the historically marginalized is an important part of the work we should do towards a better world. Timothy and the girls played to close out the event. Look for it happening it again next year!
