A Prayer Of Hope And Thanksgiving
We are grateful for the birds, who start singing in the dark, about 4 a.m, no light.
We are grateful for the Judas tree and the Dogwood trees, putting out blooms.
We are grateful for all the talented and conscientious workers working on the house.
We are grateful for the swell of voices from the bottom rising up, like seedlings from the deep, dark soil, to be seen and heard. Yes, the words and images are twisted and spun by the powers that be. But hope is arising, from the bottom up.
We are grateful for this earth we have been blessed with and pray for our hands, feet, and hearts as we live in it.
