House Update June

So right now the contractors are finishing up the initial work on the back apartment. We had some rough spots with all thecontractors, but soon they will be done and the apartment will be ready for Christa, Timothy, and the girls to move in. It's beenredone and is painted and everything! We're still looking for a couple or family for the third floor apartment after our friends decided they are not going to be able to move in. Katie and Heather will be moving in July, and when Timothy and Christa move,we'll have the downstairs community space.

In the yard everything is growing. We just harvested the first crops yesterday (some greens and radishes) and we planted a beautiful pear and nectarine last week, to add to our apple and cherry trees. We're constantly working on cutting weeds, moving cat litter, ripping vines, or digging beds.

With Luke's discovery of the weed whacker in the basement the grass has looked better kept. We are just grateful for the next stage of this experiment--whether it be the new chickens, crops, launching our junk sale on ebay, or the new apartment. Thanks to everyone and keep us in your prayers.
